Your Information

Privacy Notice

A plain-language explanation of what's collected on this site and how it's used. This is a notice, not a formal legal policy.

What I Collect

Depending on how you use the site, this can include: your name, email, and phone number (checkout/order requests); your name and review text (Reviews); your name, email, and consent record (newsletter signup); and your name, category, and idea text (Community Suggestions/Ballot).

How It's Used

Order details are used to confirm, prepare, and fulfill your order and arrange pickup — including an order-request email, a confirmation email once I approve it, and a brief note if it's cancelled. Submitted reviews are shown publicly on the Reviews page only after I approve them. Suggestions are used to consider future menu and Bakery Ballot items.

Ordering something does not sign you up for the newsletter — that's a separate, explicit choice.

Weekly Menu Newsletter

Checking the consent box on the newsletter form signs you up for a weekly email with that week's available menu — sent using Resend, our email delivery provider. Along with your name and email, I record the date/time you consented, where you signed up, and which version of this notice was in effect at the time.

You can withdraw consent at any time: every newsletter email includes a one-click Unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, with no login or second confirmation step required.

Storage & Sharing

Information is stored in a secured database (Supabase) that only I can access as the site administrator. Email delivery is handled by Resend, solely to send the emails described above. Information is not sold, and is not shared with any other third party beyond these two service providers needed to run the site and send email.
